When she launched the Bad Bitch Book Club a year ago, she expected to draw in a few other people to talk about books with. In the first month, over 100 people joined.

February is Black History Month, so for the rest of the month, I’ll personally be reading books exclusively written by black women. Not only is it a budget-friendly present that's easily wrappable (a very underappreciated plus), but it also comes across as incredibly thoughtful - when done correctly. Though it can be difficult to measure someone’s reading taste, being a professional reader of sorts, I have a pretty spot-on gift for knowing what will get people turning pages.
