Job Overview
Bad Bitch Book Club is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Coordinator to oversee our online presence across all social media platforms. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing social media content, engaging with our community, and increasing brand awareness. As Social Media Coordinator, you'll be the voice of our brand across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms (Tiktok, Threads, Instagram, and Facebook)
Create engaging and interactive content (reels, IG stories, and graphics) aligned with our brand identity
Stay in-the-know on BBBC happenings (retreats, meetings, etc)
Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting
Monitor, respond to, and engage with social media comments and direct messages in a timely manner
Lead community management by fostering conversations and listening to our community on socials
Capture the voice of the BBBC brand across communications
Stay updated on trends, algorithm changes, and platform features to keep content fresh and competitive
Meet monthly with marketing team
Bring new ideas to the table
Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience as a social media coordinator or similar role
Strong knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
Strong graphic design skills
Active member of the BBBC community
Excellent copywriting skills
Familiarity with Canva and Trello
Clear, confident communication skills
Effective time-management skills
Team-player
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
Ideal if they live in NYC or MA, but open to any location!
Compensation and Hours:
$20 per hour
You will be paid monthly
20 hours a month, on average
